If you feel that life is boring and you need to find something to occupy yourself, I think driving yourself and enjoying delicious food are both very good choices.
My husband and I are both fun-loving people who can’t sit still, and at the same time we are both foodies. Wherever we go, the first thing we think about is not to see the beautiful scenery, but to try out the local delicacies.
After eating well, you will be in the mood to travel slowly.
This epidemic has devastated both of us, and we didn’t go out for two whole months.
You can think of ways to solve the problem of food, you can make it yourself, but when it comes to travel, you really have no choice. Even looking at pictures and illustrations doesn’t help, and I have the urge to go out more and more.
It was only during this relatively safe period that we planned this trip to Masangxi Ancient Town, and we had already flown out before we even thought about it.
The day before departure was originally gloomy, but the weather suddenly turned sunny that morning, which was very unexpected.
Because of the great weather, we have this sunny travel diary.
When two people travel, since the distance is not far (they don’t leave the city), they don’t need to prepare too many things.
When we got up in the morning, we temporarily packed up the clothes we were going to wear and the camera we were going to bring. Then we charged the car in advance, almost had breakfast, and set off in simple clothes.
This time we were accompanied by a super handsome "partner" - e2.
Masangxi Ancient Town is located on the edge of the Yangtze River at Masangxi Bridge in Dadukou District.
The ancient town got its name from the Masang tree and became famous because of the charity ferry established by the gentry. During the heyday of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it became the largest ferry on the Yangtze River in Chongqing. The Dadukou originated from the Masang River.
It took more than 40 minutes to drive to the ancient town. There was a slight traffic jam. There are more people going out on weekends recently.
Behind us is Masangxi Ancient Town. I first found a parking place. The sun was very bright. The white body of the e2 automatically lit up the car for me. The parking lot here is very wide. We were not in a hurry, so we drove to the roadside to take pictures of the white car.
It’s really versatile, especially in a season like spring when you park your car and go shopping... Half a century ago, Masangxi Old Street not only had hotels, restaurants, teahouses, schools, post offices, but also spacious department stores.
It's a very lively place.
Now it is a completely different scene, and it has mainly transformed into a tourist attraction, waiting for tourists to pamper you.
There is a terrace with a river view, many tables and chairs for drinking tea and coffee, but there are almost no people in this special period. The old street inn, which has a very literary and artistic atmosphere, used to be an old-fashioned train platform carriage and was converted into a coffee shop. It is interesting to see the roses on the roadside.
It was a great drive to see the ancient town from a distance and let Xiao E take a photo with the ancient town.
After finally finding this place, I detoured from the highway above and stopped temporarily to take some photos.
Everyone has seen the old-style railway tracks on the side of the road. This is the old Chengdu-Chongqing Railway line.
Dapeng spreads its wings and shows its figure, hahaha, this is the posture of taking off. The bridge above the head is called Masangxi Bridge. It is mainly for the inner ring expressway in the city. The view of the river from above is not bad, and you can also see the whole view of the ancient town. The sun is very warm.
, but not dazzling. Maybe it’s because I haven’t been out to play for a long time. I was very excited wherever I went and took a lot of photos.
The temperature that day was very suitable, about 25 degrees, and a refreshing vest and a jacket were enough.
In order to avoid reflection, we drove the car under the bridge and took some pictures. In the current weather, there is no need for air conditioning at all. Open the window and let the natural wind blow in, which is very comfortable.
Although I don’t usually drive a lot, and I have a dedicated driver to pick me up when I go out, I still want to praise the e2’s control. This car is really easy to use, the steering wheel is light and comfortable, and the power of the switches and brakes are just right.
I remember the first time I touched a car, my husband took me to get to know it all morning, and then I was able to drive it alone. The running-in period was very short.
The car has enough space for the two of us, with spacious front and rear seats and good visibility.
In addition to the space and control mentioned above, the thoughtfulness of the small e is also reflected in its convenience of charging and economical use of the car.
Fast charging of the car really saves time. We basically charge it once a week, and it takes more than an hour to fully charge, so there is no delay!
During the time when I was working from home, I even charged it every half a month. Anyway, it is very convenient to have a charging pile in the garage downstairs.
As for the economy, of course it means saving money. Now for normal commuting to and from get off work, the electricity bill for charging is less than 100 yuan a month. Excluding parking fees, it is really cheaper than taking public transportation.
Life after owning a car is always different from the past. In the past, when you wanted to go out, you had to arrange transportation and plan in advance, and your time was strictly limited. But now it is different. You can go as soon as you want.
The control is flexible, and green-plate cars don’t have to worry about traffic or number restrictions, so it’s convenient no matter what.
e2 has been with us for less than half a year now, but we feel that we are already a very tacit partner. When buying something, the most important thing is to choose the one that suits you. Meeting e2 should be the best arrangement.
