Although young people always subconsciously order takeout in their tiring lives, we still have a noble definition of eating in our hearts.
In the world of foodies, you really work hard!
1. Sometimes I want to relax or find a way to have fun while running around for food, but I can’t always find it.
Many, many times, I ended up choosing good food.
I was "lying" at home during a vacation and wanted to order takeout, but the store I liked didn't open takeout yet!
How can I bear this!
So I jumped out of bed and went straight to the store!
I forgot about being tired both physically and mentally. I was already hungry anyway. In order to eat the food I like and satisfy my taste buds, I would rather drag my tired body to see the food I want to see!
Second, I spent a long time cooking and went on vacation to central France. Before returning to Paris, I learned that there is a truffle market every Friday morning in the small town of Carpentras in southern Provence.
In order to eat fresh black truffles from their origin, I got up at three in the morning and set off at 3:30. I drove for more than five hours and arrived at the truffle market before 9 in the morning. Then I rushed to the supermarket to buy jars and rice, and picked out the best.
The carefully selected black truffles were stored in sealed glass jars, and they drove five hours non-stop back to the holiday home.
That night, I rushed to the supermarket to buy ingredients and simmered vegetable stock for two hours, just to have a mouthful of rich Italian rice simmered in stock.
Fortunately, it took more than 10 hours to make the black truffle Italian rice and it did not disappoint.
Third, in order to make the taste you like, you can try many times. In order to eat desserts with less sugar and less oil that suit your taste, or dishes with less salt and less "ingredients", you usually buy all the kitchen utensils after comparing many recipes.
Or tools, try again and again until you get the flavor you like.
It’s common to go to different supermarkets and wet markets to buy seasonings and ingredients; it’s commonplace to go half way around the city to queue up for a meal at a restaurant; it’s not surprising to drive hundreds of kilometers just to eat a seasonal dish or a traditional dish from the place of origin.
