Ilchulbong Peak in Niudoseong Mountain, Jeju Island, is a must-see for many tourists. Everyone hopes to watch the beautiful sunrise natural landscape at Sunrise Peak. Watching the sunrise over the sea is the most famous local attraction, but the journey is long. Is it necessary to charter a car?
How much does a ticket cost for the Udo Island Loop Sightseeing Bus?
Sightseeing bus ticket, 5,000 won/person
: Transportation guide to Udo Seongsan Sunchulbong Peak in Jeju Island
1. Take a taxi from the hotel to Jeju in the city The bus station costs 6,500 won, which is actually a long-distance bus station.
2. Other guides said that there are Chinese services at the terminal, but we did not find it. We went directly to the ticket window and showed the conductor Udo Korean on the translation software. The most recent trip cost 3,000 won per person. I took the No. 112 bus and waited at a stop on the roadside (the conductor initially said that there was no response from outside because there was a waiting area outside the terminal and a car was waiting here).
3. If you buy a T-coin bus card, you don’t need to go in to buy a ticket. You can just wait for the bus at the stop outside the roadside. Niudao is at the bottom of Route 112 at Chengshan Port. The bus display is in Chinese and English.
4. Route 112 is a large bus station with few stops. It takes about an hour to get to Niudao, and you will pass Tiger on the way. It looked desolate at first glance, and it was difficult to get a taxi, so I didn’t go there as it was too late.
5. Get off the bus at the station and follow the crowd. Go across the parking lot and buy your boat ticket in the white building. Remember to bring your passport. First, write two lists on the side. The conductor will ask you if you want to go there on the same day. The round trip ticket for the two of us was 21,000 won and we received cash. We were also given a Chinese map.
6. When you come out, take a boat next to the boat, once every half an hour, give the staff a ticket and receipt, and then give you a return trip.
7.15 minutes boat ride. Although the urban area is quite warm this season, it is so cold and windy in Udo, so it is recommended to wear a down jacket. Viewing the sea from the top of the boat is particularly beautiful.
8. You can choose sightseeing cars or rent electric cars on the island (an international driving license is required). We chose the sightseeing bus, which has a blue ticket. You can choose whether to get off at each attraction. There are many buses, so remember to save your ticket. Every time you get on the bus, you have to show it to the driver. The driver will introduce the scenic spots, but what you say is Korean that you don’t understand and it’s all misty.
9. On the cattle trail, you may be very tired if you walk completely. You're better off taking a sightseeing bus.
10. The scenery of Niudao is quite good, and it is quite suitable for taking pictures. Remember to catch the last boat back. It is recommended to play for half a day until 5 pm.
11. Seongsan Ilchulbong is the first two stops in Udo. In the past, taxi fares were divided into two areas, free and paid. Because the cow path has come out, I am already very tired. There is a fee to climb the mountain, but I only walked around in the free area. The scenery is okay. It seems that there are haenyeo performances at 10:30 am and 3:30 pm. This is not an easy job.
12. It is recommended that you arrange to go to Seongsan Ilchulbong in the morning and Udo in the afternoon. We took bus 212 for the return trip, which cost 1,200 won per person. The stops are very frequent and it takes an hour and a half to get back to the bus terminal.
Ushijima Food
Ushijima Prince’s ice cream and orange juice drinks should be hot, right? The ice cream tasted like peanuts and was very refreshing. Orange juice drinks are also available. Not so novel. There will be a meal at each attraction. I found one at random. The seafood noodles are a bit spicy. In fact, I think the taste is average. Not as delicious as people say. Maybe my mouth is a little bit chewy.
