(3) Zaozhuang Spicy Chicken Zaozhuang Spicy Chicken is considered the flagship dish in Zaozhuang’s food industry and has been listed as an intangible cultural heritage.

In the banquet culture of Zaozhuang people, the first and last dishes must be chicken. The first dish is whole chicken, and the last dish is spicy chicken.

As a famous dish that Zaozhuang people must have for entertaining guests and banquet tables, the Zaozhuang Spicy Chicken is also unique.

The chicken must be free-range chickens raised by farmers. The authentic Zaozhuang Spicy Chicken does not blanch the chicken.
