Delicious meals require careful preparation (original)

Since taking care of my mother, I have spent more time cooking these days, and I have regained the feeling of being self-taught in food.

For example, when it comes to making pasta, dumplings are my favorite. From kneading the dough, rolling out the dough to stuffing, I am very skillful. I can control the softness and hardness of the noodles and the thickness of the skin just right. Especially when it is wrapped, it can hold fillings, and it looks "delicate" with only narrow edges. I remember when I was a child during the Chinese New Year, my mother was afraid that some of the dumplings she put into the pot would leak. Even if there was only one leak, she would not feel good about it. So my mother taught me how to pack more stuffing without leaking. And I have accumulated experience little by little in practice, and can control it easily.

In fact, cooking is the same, it needs to be done carefully. From chopping vegetables to pouring them into the pot, everything must be done in a certain order. The amount of oil you add depends entirely on your eyesight. If you add too much oil, it will be greasy. If you add too little, the fried vegetables will not be fragrant. When the oil is just about to smoke, you can put some shredded ginger in it, turn it around the pot, and then add shredded pork or sliced ??meat, so that the meat will not stick to the bottom of the pot. When frying the meat, add a little soy sauce (I usually use old-fashioned soy sauce). If you are not frying green vegetables, you can also spray a little vinegar, such as vinegared cabbage.

The bean sprouts that were fried tonight, the white bean sprouts were added with some leeks and a lot of vinegar when they came out of the pot. The color and taste of the fried bean sprouts make people appetizing at first glance, and they are sour and delicious in the mouth. Another dish is fried tofu skin with shredded cabbage. There is no vinegar in it, but coriander is added when it comes out of the pot. It is white and green, with a full color and taste.

In fact, not everyone can prepare a delicious meal. When I was a child, I often went to my neighbor's house to play. Her first-grade dumplings always had a pot of vegetable foam floating on them, and the whole family ate them with gusto. My mother said that the hostess of that house would never know how to cook in her whole life. I later understood this saying. Some people do cook all their lives but their food is not good. Some people are just like whatever they do. In the final analysis, it is about doing things without paying attention.

The meaning of life is also reflected in food. I wonder if there is any happiness that food cannot cure.
