Mudanjiang Normal University is very good.

The school is located in Aimin District, Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province. It is a national-level language standardization demonstration school, a teacher education research center in the southeastern region of Heilongjiang Province, and a talent training base for Heilongjiang Province’s economic and trade with Russia.

Mudanjiang Normal College was founded in 1958 and has gone through development stages such as the Nenjiang Branch of Northeast Agricultural College, Bei'an Normal College, Ning'an Normal College, and Mudanjiang Normal College.

In September 1995, the school moved to Mudanjiang City.

In 2006, the school was approved as a master's degree-granting unit.
