Braised Pork Trotters with Mushrooms
I got up early and went to the market to pick out the pig trotters. There weren’t many pig trotters at the meat stalls, so I had to go early to pick out ingredients that were the right size and fat.
I picked a slightly larger pig's trotter, and the surface was very clean. The store helped me cut it into six pieces with a guillotine knife, so I could take it home and clean it before putting it in the pot.
Shiitake mushrooms are fresh. Just pick them and blanch them in water. Store them in separate bags in the refrigerator. Take out a bag when you want to eat them.
Now that the ingredients are ready, let’s start the operation:
Step 1: Pour half a pot of water into the pot. After boiling, add cooking wine, add pig trotters, cook for a while and take them out. Rinse with clean water and drain. Set aside.
Step 2: Put an appropriate amount of water in the casserole, add pig trotters, green onions, and ginger slices, turn on high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 3: Take out the scallions, skim off the foam, add an appropriate amount of salt and dark soy sauce, continue to simmer over low heat until the pig's trotters are soft and rotten, then add the shiitake mushrooms, which are cooked from rehmannia. Just take it out of the refrigerator and defrost it and put it in the pot, then simmer for 10 minutes, taste the saltiness and adjust the taste, then turn off the heat.
Don’t eat it immediately after turning off the heat. Cover the lid and simmer for a while. Because the heat of the casserole is still there, the pig’s trotters will continue to absorb the soup. Stewing for a while will also make the pig’s trotters taste better. More soft and waxy!
When you touch the surface of the casserole with your hands and it has become warm, you can open the lid. The aroma of meat will overflow in an instant, which makes you very appetizing. Although there is only one pig's trotter, it is enough for two people. , it is an ancient saying that you cannot have too much delicious food. Eat delicious food several times, and don’t eat too much at one time. If you want to replenish your body, don’t hurt your body by eating too much.
Okay, try making it. If it tastes good, remember to come to me. I like to eat and am willing to be a Ruyi cook. I am even more willing to share the joy of delicious food with you! Thank you for your attention, sharing and likes!
