Beijing--East China 5-day tour
Day 1: Train from Beijing to Suzhou, choose the train that arrives earlier in the morning.
Main attractions in Suzhou: Tiger Hill (Huqiu Tower, Sword Pond, etc.), Humble Administrator's Garden - a representative work of Jiangnan gardens (there are many gardens in Suzhou, you don't have to go to them all), Xiyuan Temple (Buddha sculpture art), Suzhou food (eunuch cooking is recommended
street).
There are many gardens in Suzhou, so you don’t have to go to them all.
Go to Wuzhen in the evening: The ancient water town in the south of the Yangtze River is best visited in the evening and early morning. Take a bus from Suzhou. There are buses to Tongxiang (Chongfu) from Suzhou South Station, North Station, and Wuzhong Station. It takes one hour to arrive, and you can change to the shuttle bus from Tongxiang to Wuzhen.
(Every ten minutes).
Find accommodation: inn in Xizha, Wuzhen.
Watch the lights and night view of Xizha at night, get up early in the morning and go shopping, and 2 or 3 hours of sightseeing is enough.
Go shopping in Wuzhen and see the style of the ancient Jiangnan town - pawn shops, rice shops, and grocery stores (Lin's Shop is a typical one, it's best to read Mao Dun's novel "Lin's Shop" before going there). What you can't miss is taking a boat at the God of Wealth Bay.
Looking at Wuzhen from the water, you can feel that “everyone’s family is pillowed on the river”.
The next day: There is a direct bus from Wuzhen to Hangzhou. You can also go from Wuzhen to Tongxiang High-speed Railway Station and take the high-speed rail to Hangzhou Station (Hangzhou Station, not Hangzhou South Railway Station).
The main attraction in Hangzhou is the West Lake. First arrive at a certain point in the West Lake (it is recommended to go to Yongjinmen or "Lakeside" first), walk along the West Lake or rent a bicycle. There is no need to go or not. It doesn't matter where you go. What you want is leisure and leisure.
.
Recommended route: start from the lakeside and go around counterclockwise, go to Pinghu Qiuyue and take a cruise to the two islands of "Three Pools Mirroring the Moon" and "Xiaoyingzhou" in the center of the lake, then go ashore from "Huagang Fish Viewing", walk to Leifeng Pagoda, and then arrive at the West Lake
End of tour.
Go to Songzhuang (an antique amusement city) in the evening.
Day 3: Go to Feilaifeng and Lingyin Temple in the morning, Qinghefang Antique Street (folk handicrafts and snacks) in the afternoon, and take the train to Shanghai in the evening.
Day 4: Shanghai tour mainly includes Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street, the Bund, and Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone.
Take the subway to People's Square (this place name is blocked, so I can only type it this way), exit the station at Exit 20, go shopping eastward along Nanjing East Road, and after dinner arrive at the east end of Nanjing East Road, where is the Bund.
The Bund is known as the "Architecture Expo of All Nations". You can admire the world's outstanding architecture, enjoy the night view of lights, and see the Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone (Oriental Pearl Tower, China's tallest building, etc.) across the river from the Bund.
If you have time, you can take Metro Line 2 at Nanjing East Road Metro Station for one stop, visit Lujiazui directly, and buy a ticket to go up to the Oriental Pearl Tower or Jin Mao Tower (the tallest building in the past and the tallest building under construction are all in that area
), looking at the Bund from the Lujiazui Riverside has a different style from viewing it on the Bund.
Day 5: Shanghai Old Street, Yuyuan Mall, City God Temple, Yuyuan Garden.
These places are in the same place. Take a taxi to Fangbang Intersection of Henan Middle Road and start the tour under the archway of "Shanghai Old Street".
Visit the old streets, shopping malls, City God Temple, and Yuyuan Garden.
(That is the old city of Shanghai. The house, garden and temple of a Ming Dynasty official were sold by their descendants and later became a shopping mall, the Town God's Temple and Yuyuan Garden. It is one of the must-visit places in Shanghai.) The style of Shanghai is here
In the evening, if you are in a hurry, consider taking a late-night flight.
You can take Metro Line 2 from Renmin Square, Nanjing East Road, and Lujiazui, and you can go directly to the airport.
Line 2 is a line connecting Hongqiao and Pudong airports and passing through the most downtown areas.
Accommodation in Shanghai: There are many chain hotels, so book online in advance.
You can also find a small hotel in the People's Square or on the small road near Nanjing East Road. The conditions are not very good, but the health and security are no problem. It is very convenient to travel and the price is not high.
The five-day schedule is too tight and difficult to arrange. I can only give you a rough idea. You can adjust it yourself.
