It has crispy skin, goose-yellow color, distinct layers, and fragrant meat.

It is small and exquisite, with a soft texture. The dough is made of lard, salt, five-spice powder and sugar (water-oil noodles and ghee noodles), so it is multi-layered and crispy. Even if the meat is not included and the crust is eaten alone, it will still be delicious.

This snack, which looks like meat buns to outsiders, is said to have been around in 1917. It was created by a father and son living in Chifeng, Hebei Province, who integrated three local snacks in Chifeng into a dish with unique craftsmanship and unique flavor.

Today I will share it with you, but because of its unique craftsmanship, I can only introduce a simple one that you can make at home. Although it is not authentic, it is quite delicious.

Materials required: low-gluten flour, millet noodles, lard, water, smoked pork belly.

Preparation method: 1. Knead the dough until soft and let it rise.

Use fried millet noodles and add lard to make a puff pastry.

2. Chop the prepared bacon and set aside.

3. Roll out the dough into a large piece, spread a layer of pastry evenly on it, then roll it up from one end and cut it into small pieces, round and flatten it, and roll it into an eight-centimeter-sized cake. Then you can bake pancakes.

4. Cut a slit in the middle of the baked cake and add bacon. The sandwich is ready with a scorching aroma. If it is paired with a bowl of haggis soup, it will be a must-have.
