Guro-gu () is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Seoul Special City, the capital of South Korea.
The name of Guro-gu, which was separated/newly established from Yeongdeungpo-gu on April 1, 1980, comes from the legend of the longevity of nine old people in the past.
It consists of 10 statutory caves, including Xindaolin Cave, Guro Cave, Galifong Cave, Gaochi Cave, Kaifeng Cave, Oliu Cave, Shuigong Cave, Wenshui Cave, Hang Cave, and Tianwang Cave.
The total area is 20.11km2 and the total population is 427,725 people.
