Why?
When it comes to self-driving, my favorite places in China are Xinjiang, Tibet, and Inner Mongolia. They are definitely the "paradise for self-driving enthusiasts" because only whoever goes there will know.
When you drive alone on the road, you will have a "chivalrous" style who dares to "ride alone for thousands of miles".
Why would I recommend these three places alone?
First of all, it’s because of the long distance. It takes at least two to three days for friends in central and eastern my country to reach their destination by car, and at least another day for those in southern China. One of the joys of self-driving travel is of course being on the road.
Secondly, this is the key point. If you are traveling by car in mainland my country, you will drive straight to the destination. There are highways between scenic spots, and there is nothing interesting along the way.
The Xinjiang, Tibet, and Inner Mongolia I'm talking about are completely different. Xinjiang has infinite scenery outside the Great Wall, the vast Gobi Desert, the vast desert, and the Duku Highway, known as the "Hero's Road"...; in Tibet, there are
National Highway 318, "the most beautiful landscape avenue in the country", and countless beautiful holy lakes and snow-capped mountains... In Inner Mongolia, there are several famous grasslands, Xilin Gol Prairie and Hulunbuir Prairie... where you can drive for days and nights.
, running wildly, the endless small flowers, green grass and grazing horses, cattle and sheep... It is a place that people will never forget after just one look.
So far, I have been to each of these three places once. I am preparing to go a second time in different seasons when the time is right.
After all, beautiful places are worth visiting again and again.
These are Xinjiang, Tibet, and Inner Mongolia, the three places I like to drive in China, and their reasons.
If you have any different opinions, please feel free to discuss them!
This varies from person to person. For me, my favorite places to visit are Wannan, Huangshan, Jiuhua Mountain, Hongcun, Xidi Village, Taohuatan, Huizhou Ancient City, Xiaochuan Tibetan Line, etc. They are not too far from home.
It will be too tiring, about 600 kilometers, the scenery is very beautiful, the mountain roads are winding, and there are many cultural landscapes. I will benefit a lot from following friends who like photography and literary creation.
In three years, we have climbed Mount Huangshan, which is "not worth seeing after returning from the Five Mountains", swam through the mist-shrouded Hongcun, stepped into Peach Blossom Pond, which is "not as good as Wang Lun's love for me", and Xin'an River, known as the "Chinese Landscape Gallery"
, viewing the century-old Huizhou old streets, and appreciating the thousand-year-old "Huizhou Rhythm", every time I am shocked, the car is the same car, but the playmates are often updated.
I recently ran Wannan Tian Road.
Baiji Highway, a winding mountain highway with blue sky and white clouds. Baiji is located on the border of Anhui and Zhejiang. Most of the villages are scattered among the peaks of the Baiji Mountains at an altitude of about 800 meters. The territory has green mountains, green waters and clusters of waterfalls. It is known as "Jiangnan".
The Last Secret Realm”.
"The road to Huihang has been difficult to travel since ancient times, but there is a fairyland at the top of Baiji Mountain."
Baiji Highway is the highest highway in Huangshan City and is recognized as the "Baiyuntian Road". It is 32 kilometers in total, including 21 kilometers uphill and 11 kilometers downhill.
With a drop of thousands of meters, twists and turns, and a long and narrow road, it is said that it is difficult to travel by car. Wendi's driving skills are first-rate, and he is familiar with the mountain road, and it is no problem to take the "wall highway" in the South Taihang Mountains.
South Taihang Road is basically a one-way lane, and Wannan Road has many narrow lanes where traffic meets each other, so traffic jams are probably unavoidable.
After walking through the "Wannan Tian Road", you can see the paradise on earth - Shishi Highway. Shishi Highway, that is, the highway from Changye Township to Shishi Township, is located in Shexian County, Huangshan City. The highest point is 1,078 meters above sea level. It has many winding roads, narrow roads and high mountains.
The road is dangerous and is called the "Sky Road in Southern Anhui".
Driving on this "Sky Road in Southern Anhui", you will feel like flying in the clouds and mist, and Wukong is reincarnated.
Looking from a distance, the continuous mountains are looming in the clouds and mist, and patches of trees and shrubs are scattered here and there. An asphalt road that winds left and right extends into the distance, like a brightly colored oil painting.
Among them, it feels like living in a fairy tale world.
The most interesting rural road in Huizhou - Provincial Highway 218. I heard about the 218 Provincial Road from a friend in the government. They rode their bicycles through this road in the Leqi Cycling Alliance, and they rated it highly.
I know there is such a road, there has never been such a road, it runs through the most magnificent mountains and rivers, and also passes through the most peaceful villages.
There have never been a few remote villages like this that have a sense of contentment that has been forgotten by the world, and also have unforgettable legends in the world.
When we visited Huangshan Mountain three years ago, we passed this most beautiful road. The scenery along the way was dazzling, and we could see the clouds and mist leaping over the mountains.
If you don't walk in here, you won't feel the smoke and rain of history at all. I think here you can feel the pride of beating a horse with bamboo sticks and mango shoes, as well as the gentleness and tenderness of low-pitched singing.
We will drive into 218, and the scenery will switch between fields, villages, bamboo forests, and mountains. In an instant, the unique preference is a unique life experience for drivers.
