1. Dakaiyuan Temple
This is one of the tourist attractions in Quanzhou, and it is also open for free. It is the largest Buddhist temple in Fujian Province. It was built in 686 in the early Tang Dynasty, and it was not called Kaiyuan Temple at first, but called Lotus Dojo. It was renamed Kaiyuan Temple in the 26th year of Kaiyuan's prosperity, and it has been used ever since.
2. Qingyuan Mountain
Qingyuan Mountain is the only 5A-level scenic spot in Quanzhou, and it is also one of the must-see spots for foreign tourists when they come to Quanzhou. The 5A scenic spot is well-deserved, and the air is fresh and natural, and birds can be heard along the mountain.
It is especially suitable for urbanites who are tired from work to relax. The statue of Laojunyan is lifelike and extraordinary, and the reclining Buddha also has the charm of being like a sage. Tianhu overlooks Quanzhou city and has the stupa of Master Hongyi.
3. Chongwu Ancient City
Chongwu Ancient City is located in the southeast seashore of Hui 'an County, Quanzhou, near the Taiwan Province Strait. It was built in 1387 by Zhou Dexing, Xiahou, Jiang, in the 2th year of Ming Hongwu, to resist the Japanese pirates.
Chongwu Ancient City is also the only relatively complete stone city in China, a relatively complete historical relic in the history of coastal defense in China, and a "national key cultural relics protection unit".
