As of September 2022, the school has a free campus and a Jingyue campus; There are 2 1 college (department) and 82 undergraduate majors; Full-time undergraduate students10.5 million, graduate students10.5 million, and doctoral students over 3,000. There are more than 700 international students in the school. Full-time teachers 1700, including 560 professors and 657 associate professors.
2. Headquarters Park
Northeast Normal University, formerly known as Northeastern University, was founded in 1946, which is the first comprehensive university founded by China. 1950 according to the needs of the development of national education, it was renamed Northeast Normal University, which is under the Ministry of Education.
3. Jingyue Campus
Located in the picturesque Jingyuetan Tourism Economic Development Zone in Changchun, it covers an area of 940,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 260,000 square meters, which is 0/5km away from the headquarters. The campus started in March 2000 and was completed in September 2002. The construction of Jingyue Campus has expanded the space for running Northeast Normal University, enhanced the overall strength of running a school, and created favorable conditions for realizing the development and construction goal of Northeast Normal University as a first-class research-oriented comprehensive normal university in China and internationally renowned.
