Shibatan Scenic Area is located at the junction of Hubei and Henan in the north of Dawu County (within Sanli Town), facing Jigong Mountain across the peak, 131 kilometers away from Wuhan, 91 kilometers away from Xiaogan, 61 kilometers away from Xinyang, 9 kilometers away from Daxin exit of Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway and 21 kilometers away from Xiaogan North Station of Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway, with obvious location advantages and convenient transportation.

the scenic spot was built by Hubei Huiyin Shibatan Tourism Culture Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Huiyin Group in Kyoto, Hainan, with an investment of 2.6 billion yuan.
