Introduction of new soft long dike
Long Beach in New Johor (Malay: Tambak Johor, which means Long Beach in Johor) is1.056m long, which spans the Johor Strait and connects Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Wulan Town, Singapore. The causeway serves as a channel connecting the roads and railways on both sides of the Taiwan Province Strait, and there is also a water pipe causeway from Malaysia to Singapore connecting the Sultan Iskanda Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Hall in Johor, Malaysia. The new checkpoint replaced the Long Beach checkpoint on 6 February 2008 at 16. The hall leads to the inner ring road of Xinshan. On the other side of Singapore, the long beach leads to the checkpoint of Wulan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. The checkpoint replaced the old Wulan checkpoint at 1998, thus connecting the checkpoint with the Bukit-Ma Zhi Expressway. The long beach carries an average of 60,000 vehicles every day, and the traffic jam is particularly serious on the eve of public holidays.
