Before I went to Chengdu, I had many conjectures. First of all, delicious food is everywhere, especially hot pot. Second, life is comfortable, and tea is picked from the ear bowl. Third, the authentic Chengdu dialect has caused extreme comfort. But the process before I arrived in Chengdu was unforgettable (I swear ...). For the first time in my life, I checked in with 8 kilograms of luggage. After that, because I didn't bring any cash, I had to eat a banana with me without even drinking water. Anyway, I feel half dead since the Spring and Autumn Period.
Day 1 day-the first meeting
I got off the plane and returned to normal, but later I found that the place I was going to was on the other side of the city, so I had to follow the subway. But I can't bear to think that I will eat Chengdu food in the future. Fortunately, the subway should not turn around. In fact, I found many interesting things on the subway and recorded them with my mobile phone.
When I got off the subway, I saw a very interesting building. To tell the truth, I didn't see this building in Shanghai either. It is said to be the fourth generation building. This kind of architecture instantly gave me an understanding of Chengdu: a city with some style.
It's the first time to eat grilled fish. I don't know if it's because I'm hungry, or if it's really crispy outside and tender inside, spicy and delicious, really fresh. Unfortunately, I didn't take it, because I just wanted to eat it. Something like this, so crisp that I can eat bones.
Another obvious feature of Chengdu is that large-scale construction is everywhere. From the subway all the way, you can see many projects under construction, including the city center in the next few days. However, housing prices have not been high, at least compared with other provincial capitals, so I want to settle down for a while.
The evening is a formal invitation-only banquet, and I will report it while eating. I really can't forget eating beef-based hot pot this time. Tear your hands into small pieces of hairy belly and rinse it in the pot for ten seconds, then dip it in dried vegetables and swallow it in one gulp. The first time it smells delicious, chew that spicy taste slowly and explode in your mouth. A burst of pleasure will spread from the tip of the tongue to the whole body, and you will feel the pores expand and feel extremely comfortable. If there is anything different from what you ate in Shanghai, it is incense. I don't know if it's the food or the bottom of the pot. Anyway, the overall feeling is spicy, not spicy that you don't want to eat more and more.
Moreover, it is the first time to see eating hot pot outside in winter, and it is also a long experience. If I were you, I would basically. Hot pot does not need an elegant environment. The key is where a group of people come and go and eat.
The next day-feeling
After getting up the next day, I had breakfast in the hotel. It's really a chain economy hotel, and there is no breakfast with Chengdu characteristics. I feel very unhappy.
I'm still hungry after walking several places in a row during the day. It's already nine o'clock in the evening, and we have to eat hot pot. Find a place to eat. Although the one that the owner wants to go to in advance is being renovated, it is still very enjoyable to eat as a whole. Anyway, bullfrog and yellow diced are one bite at a time, and the juice splashes, which is delicious and spicy. It really stung me this time. Also, taking a spoonful of oil from the bottom of the pot and dipping it in it is really delicious, although it looks oily.
I feel very satisfied on this day because of this meal. Indeed, food is the most important thing for people. The ancients didn't cheat me.
the third day
Meimei slept, got up early the next day and found the other side of the city: quiet, simple and full of vitality. Sometimes what is the most important thing to live in a city, but I haven't figured it out yet, because there is no city I particularly like. Chengdu feels like a good city when it comes to contact, and its feelings are very heavy.
Chengdu's urban flavor is hidden in every move of street citizens, which makes people stop to watch and then admire from the heart. For example, the following group of men and women are fishing in various postures, which is very comfortable.
I deeply feel that Chengdu citizens are curious about all kinds of gadgets, which may be found in other cities, but it is really rare to see so many people around and in broad daylight.
Then go to the People's Park to see the "afternoon tea" culture of Chengdu people, and cover a bowl of tea with melon seeds and peanuts, which is very pleasant.
Have a cup of tea, have something to eat, and then pick your ears or go boating. There are many activities anyway.
The most striking thing is the activity at the gate of the park. I don't know, but there are so many people watching that it is impossible to squeeze in.
There are also lonely figures, most of whom are thinking, which is a bit out of place with this cheerful park.
To tell the truth, I wanted to photograph the old man at first sight. It was a shadow at that time, but I felt a sense of time and vicissitudes. But I struggled for a while and didn't shoot it. I felt very rude. Later, I still felt that I would lose a very meaningful photo. After the old man moved to another place, I took a long-distance picture with a telephoto lens.
I ate something out of the park, mainly snacks. They were all delicious.
The order is ascetic chicken, Dandan Noodles, bean jelly and fermented grains (as I like to call it), and so is the order of eating.
Then we should go to Jinli Ancient Street instead of Wuhou Temple. There are really many people. I eat a lot, and the price seems to be cheaper than that in Kuanzhai Lane. In fact, the best thing is to drink tea and listen to songs in the open air or listen to songs indoors.
The night in Jinli is still good. If you are not in a hurry, you'd better calm down and have a drink.
Here is basically the end of the photo shoot, and the impression of Chengdu is basically in it, but it is still too little.
The characteristics of Chengdu are obvious, really distinctive, and it is a city worth living in. If you haven't been there yet, you can feel it. At least the food won't let you down.
