thoughts after reading: titanic-a touch in my life
I like my heart forever very much, so I reviewed the movie titanic I saw five years ago, and cried in the last few scenes, moved by the protagonist's desire for survival and persistent love.
Young Jack Dawson and Ruth David Kate met on the Titanic luxury passenger ship from England to America, and they are going to elope when they arrive in America. Unfortunately, the passenger ship hit an iceberg on the way and sank.
When I mentioned this film, apart from the thrilling scene, touching love and fascinating story, what impressed me the most was Ruth's eyes. That is on the verge of life and death, but not desperate eyes.
people are so small in the face of death. As a result, the extreme panic and all kinds of ugly behaviors caused by it are all obvious: in order to survive, some people drown other people's heads in the water on the sea and float on the sea by themselves; In order to board the lifeboat with priority for women and children, a man paid off the crew with money; In order to protect their own safety, a lifeboat with more than 71 people can carry only a dozen people, and the people on board are unwilling to save many people in distress, including relatives, because they are worried about their lives. How hateful and realistic these phenomena are. However, the beauty in human nature always exceeds the ugliness: most men abide by the system and leave their wives and children on the Titanic after they are sent to the ship of hope; The calm crew members were prepared to die in the line of duty and arranged for passengers to board the lifeboat in an orderly manner; When the hull leans and people slide backwards, some people hold the pillar tightly and hold others' hands with the other hand; When the two protagonists in the film are chased by the swept seawater, but they see an unattended child crying at a loss, they resolutely pick up the child and take him with them to escape ... These are the noble spirits and noble practices in the face of life and death choices.
There are many touching details, all of which show the calmness and calmness in dealing with death: the young mother in the third-class cabin knows that the hope of survival is as slim as a phantom, so she tells beautiful fairy tales to make her children sleep peacefully; The old couple hugged each other gently with tears, lying peacefully in bed waiting for death arrival; The players on the ship played a sad piece of music and cooperated for the last time at the end of their lives; The old captain walked into the captain's cabin and chose to give the last moment of his life to this place where he was most enthusiastic and brilliant in his life. The heroine Ruth didn't want to be separated from Jack. When the lifeboat was lowered, she bravely jumped into the window of the Titanic. For her, the meaning of life far exceeds the nostalgia for life.
Ruth once had such an inner monologue as follows: "My life is always occupied by boring things. Endless dinners, dances, horse races, rowing boats, these are the only people who associate. Nobody really cares about me. I feel like I'm standing on a high cliff, and I can't turn back. " After Ruth's father died, Ruth's family property was not much. In order to make her daughter marry the son of a rich man, the mother forced her to continue to live a lady's life in the smoky upper-class social circle of mutual flattery and worship of money. She is like sitting on a swing, swinging high, but her heart is suddenly empty, very empty. So she chose to jump into the sea, but Jack saved her, and Jack also saved her heart. He bravely talked about his idea of "enjoying every day" at the first class dinner. And take Ruth to play at the unrestrained, sincere and enthusiastic third-class party. He made Ruth feel a full and happy civilian life and told her the meaning of life.
Jack is a tenacious and optimistic person, and his spirit infected Ruth. After the Titanic sank, Ruth and Jack found a bamboo raft. After a thrilling and hard escape, they were exhausted by fatigue and cold at sea. The determination to live keeps them talking, and only by talking can they survive. The sky was full of stars twinkling in the night sky. It was supposed to be a romantic night, but the worst shipwreck happened in history. Except for 715 people who were rescued, 1515 people were in trouble. There are groups of bodies wearing life jackets floating on the sea in the North Atlantic. Only one lifeboat came back to save people. The crew's searchlights searched the sea for the living. Ruth, shivering with cold, saw the light of hope, and she wanted to wake Jack with joy. But her cry seemed so pale and powerless that Jack was unable to wake up in a deep sleep. Ruth's tears ran down her cold face. The lifeboat is sailing far away at this time. Ruth put Jack's body into the sea with a look of pain in her eyes and climbed down the bamboo raft trembling-she wanted to fulfill her promise, and she had promised Jack that she must live. "Come back, come back, come back…… ..." Ruth's weak call was accompanied by firm eyes, which showed incomparable determination and contained infinite desire for life. She struggled desperately on the edge of despair and fought tenaciously with death. She must get on the lifeboat, or she will be swallowed up by the endless darkness and the silence of death, and her soul will melt in the biting cold water of the North Atlantic. She doesn't want to lose the meaning of life just after she realizes it, and she doesn't want to break her promise. She swam trembling to a dead sailor, took the whistle he hung, blew it with all her strength, blew her love for life, blew her nostalgia for all things in the world, and blew her nostalgia for all good things. God heard her sincere prayer, and the lifeboat turned around and headed for the place where the whistle sounded. The bright light of the searchlight shone on Ruth's strong face, and she finally fell asleep in the warm blanket on the lifeboat. When she opened her eyes, she saw the soft light of the rising sun. The darkness has passed.
Titanic gave me too many feelings. I remember watching this film five years ago, I was shocked by its thrilling scenes, and occasionally I left a line of footprints on the soft beach in my heart. But now, it is completely moved by it, and it is deeply imprinted into the memory. Even when fireworks were set off on New Year's Eve, I saw them rising, blooming and falling in the dark night sky, and I thought of the distress signal sent by the captain when the Titanic was killed. Fireworks also rose to the vast starry sky, bloomed and fell on the boundless sea. And the innocent little girl on the boat smiled happily because she saw the beautiful fireworks. It still hurts to think of it.
People's feelings will always grow deeper and deeper with age, just like I only regarded Titanic as a thriller five years ago, but now I am deeply moved by it. Five years later, ten years later ... I will definitely get more and more insights from this classic film.
Titanic is absolutely shocking. Compared with 2D, it has more visual impact. . . I hope all the people who read my article can vote for one point to show their approval.
