One cave in the Mogao Grottoes has to be mentioned as Cave 16, which also contains exquisite murals and statues, but it is the Tibetan Scripture Cave (Cave 17) that makes it famous. At that time, Taoist Wang of Xiasi in Mogao Grottoes discovered this Tibetan scripture cave when he was cleaning Cave 16, which was full of ancient scriptures.
