The first step is specimen making. Captured marine life will be made into specimens.
The second step is to make a frame room. Wood, profiles and glass are cut and assembled into frame rooms.
The third step is to make pictures, decorate the shelf with colored hard paper and colored background pattern paper, and put the marine biological specimens in different shelf rooms by glue fixing method, metal needle fixing method and fishing line hanging method, and then seal and package them.
The method and steps of preparing marine fish specimens are as follows: step one, selecting materials, stripping and cleaning the captured fish, and selecting species that can be classified. Use a scalpel to cut the straight back of the trunk abdomen, bypass the anus and reach the base of the tail stalk, peel off the meat, cut off the muscles and keep the fish skin.
The second step is antiseptic treatment. Soak the peeled fish skin in 75% ~ 80% alcohol, turn it every 30 minutes, so that the alcohol can soak all parts of the fish skin for 24 ~ 48 hours, take out the soaked fish skin, and apply antiseptic powder made of arsenic trioxide on the inside.
The third step is specimen filling and molding. Lead wires or boards are used to make a skeleton similar to the central longitudinal section of a fish, which supports the skin of the fish. Wood chips and absorbent cotton are used to fill fish skins from fish tails. According to the idea, the fins are stretched while filling, the mouth is slightly opened, the teeth appear and the eyes are bright. Put it in a ventilated place to dry.
