Cangxi County, affiliated to Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province, is located on the northern edge of the Sichuan Basin, in the low and mid-mountain hilly area at the southern foot of Daba Mountain, at the southern end of Guangyuan City, between 31°37'-32°10 north latitude ', between 105°43' and 106°28' east longitude, Cangxi County belongs to the subtropical humid monsoon climate zone. Cangxi County was known as "Qinlong Suoyue" and "Shubei Pingfan" in ancient times. It got its name because it is located in Cangxi Valley. The county seat is now Nongtan Village (also known as Xianba) in Lingjiang Town.
