Don't be a forgotten swan.
At the annual summer Dafa meeting, diligent disciples should clear away all kinds of distractions brought by the world of mortals and set foot on their way home with good wishes. When the layman of our wonderful orchestra played the best song "Red Rock" in Mongolian music with viola in the auditorium of Buddhist College of Changlie Temple, it reminded me of a scene that happened when I was a child.

At that time, we liked to stand on the top of the high mountain and look up at the geese flying in the sky. They lined up in two rows, and each row was led by a wild goose. Where are they going? After spring, geese fly to the north. When winter comes, they fly back to the south. Whenever we see them flying in the sky, we are really envious and curious. We always ask adults what they are talking about when they fly.

Adults will tell us that it was a goose telling the geese behind him, "Guys, stay close and don't get lost. If you get lost, you can't go back to your hometown ... ""Stay close, once you get lost, you will easily encounter danger after flying, and you may be eaten by eagles or other animals at any time ... ""Stay close, we must unite and accompany each other, and we will work together to fly forward. ...

This is a conversation between geese flying in the sky that adults told us in human language when we were young. It may be true, but we don't understand their language. Whenever the sky is foggy, geese will land in the swamp near the small village at the foot of the mountain, or in a small lake. Because some geese overeat and cling to the grass there, some geese are confused and fall behind, and some can't fly anymore.

When other geese spread their wings and fly into the sky, those geese who can't take off and stay where they are will cry alone, but they are actually crying. Sometimes, the head geese in the flock will fly back, accompany them to take off again, slowly take them away one by one and rejoin the team. But sometimes, some geese are not so lucky. They can only stay there alone, looking up at the sky and groaning, and then being eaten by other animals.

Whenever we hear "Hongyan", we seem to see them flying neatly in the void, and we can also feel desolation from the music. In fact, this reminds me that every disciple who returns now is not a group of lost geese.

You are separated from each other all over the world and live in different situations. Because of the common will, you call each other, accompany each other, and find the beautiful home in our dreams together. Many people lost their motivation on their way home. Due to karmic reasons, many people failed to attend the Dharma meeting, and many people prepared for a long time, but they could not come back when the return date was approaching. Some of them had just entered the temple when they had to leave because of family or company matters. And most of them, like the geese mentioned just now, can't fly and get lost in the world because they are attached to food and comfortable places. Because of fame and profit, I tied myself to the trivial matters of the world of mortals, unable to fly, unable to return to the most beautiful home and purify my soul.

Remember, in the violation of having leisure time over eighteen and staying away from sixteen, as long as one of the violations occurs, the practice will be interrupted and it is impossible to practice truthfully. Only when all the thirty-four are completed can they really be full of leisure and can they be considered as a real cause of practicing Buddhism. We should always reflect on whether there are 34 conditions. If it is not enough, we must encourage ourselves, strive to accumulate resources, complete these merits, and pray for the three treasures of the guru. If you are satisfied, you must be happy and practice frequently. Moreover, this is not a few days or months, but all the time in my life.

It's not easy to come here, so, since I'm here, it's like enjoying a once-in-a-century meal. Don't be lazy. I hope I'm a real yogi with great bodhicitta. For the sake of self-interest and altruism, I'll listen to Buddhism as much as possible and accumulate blessings as much as possible. Everyone must take care of each other and care about each other, and no one should be a swan left behind.
