Matters needing attention in nucleic acid detection
First, before the test: 2 hours before the nucleic acid test, try to avoid eating and vomiting; Do not drink, smoke, drink or chew gum 30 minutes before sampling; Reduce swallowing and don't clear your throat. Before collecting nasopharyngeal swab, the examinee should inform the collector whether there is any relevant past history or related matters. For example, history of nasal surgery, curved nasal septum, blood disease, throat disease, or taking anticoagulant drugs and other related risk factors; Testers need to wear masks correctly, take off masks before testing, put on masks immediately after testing, and prepare a spare mask for replacement at any time after pollution.
Second, in the detection: when collecting the oropharyngeal swab, the examinee leans back and opens his mouth to make an "ah" sound, which helps to expose his throat, but there will be irritating dry cough, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms in the process, and the examinee can cooperate with the collector to relax and take a deep breath as much as possible; During the collection, there may be an itchy feeling in the nose, which may stimulate sneezing. You can cover it with a tissue or elbow immediately.
3. After detection: Leave the collection site immediately after collection to avoid spitting and vomiting around the collection site. Pay attention to hand hygiene before and after nucleic acid detection, and wipe your hands with hand-free disinfectant or alcohol.
