Ye Yiqian was born on September 3, 1984 in Nanping City, Fujian Province. She graduated from Beijing Film Academy and is a female singer, actor and host in Mainland China.

In 2005, Ye Yiqian participated in the "Super Girl" competition sponsored by Hunan Satellite TV and won the seventh place in the country and made her debut.
