Why leave it to Meizhou?
Because of the changes in administrative divisions in eastern Guangdong. Huangliu town, formerly known as John Wan, belongs to Fengshun County, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province. Located in the middle and lower reaches of Hanjiang River, in the northeast of Fengshun County, Meizhou City, and adjacent to Chaozhou and Jieyang in the southeast. The county borders five towns, including Tangkeng, Pantian, Huangjin, Xiaosheng and Tanjiang. This is an old revolutionary base area. Because of the reform of administrative divisions in eastern Guangdong, it was left to Meizhou. Meizhou is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province, located in the northeast of Guangdong Province, at the junction of Fujian, Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces.
