Jiangmen itself is a city, which belongs to Guangdong Province.

Jiangmen is located in the south-central part of Guangdong Province, in the west of the Pearl River Delta. It borders Shunde District, Zhongshan City and Zhuhai City of Foshan City to the east, Yangjiang City and Yangchun City to the west, Yunfu City and Foshan City to the north, and the South China Sea to the south.
