6. Huangliu Laoya: Huangliu Laoya is a rising star among Hainan’s famous dishes. It originated in Huangliu Town, Ledong in the mid-1980s.

At that time, a couple opened an old duck restaurant in the town. Due to the fine selection of ingredients and unique cooking methods, the old duck meat was pure but not greasy, and was very popular among local diners.
