If you take the train all the way: ① Take the Shinkansen to Odawara Station, which takes about 40 minutes; then switch to the Hakone Tozan Railway and arrive in Hakone in about 15 minutes.

②Take Odakyu Electric Railway's "Romance" express train directly from Tokyo's Shinjuku Station to Hakone-Yumoto Station, which takes about 1 hour and 25 minutes.

If you take the train from Shinjuku Station: ① Take the Odakyu Romance to Hakone-Yumoto Station, which takes about 1 hour and 25 minutes one way.

Departing from Kyoto Station ① Train and tram transfer: Take the Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen from Kyoto Station to Odawara, then take the tram to Hakone Yumoto, the total journey is 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Departing from Osaka Station ① Transfer between trains and trams: Take the Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka Station to Odawara, then take the tram to Hakone-Yumoto, the total journey is 2 hours and 38 minutes.
