Taizhou cuisine includes Wenling embedded cake, broth-cooked rice, Xiao Huangyan fried noodles, Yongquan tangerine, No.1 cake, egg mixed with ginger sauce, shrimp soaked, round-cooked mung bean noodles, mountain flour paste, cake eating tube, egg white sheep tail, dumpling tube, rice cake, Sanhuang chicken and so on. Wenling embedded cake: it is a traditional fast food for Wenling people in Taizhou by putting their favorite dishes in fresh rice cakes. First, beat the early rice and glutinous rice into fine powder according to a certain proportion, steam them in a pot, and then beat them with a wooden stick in a mortar to make the cake tough. The more beaten, the tougher and more delicious it is.
Cooking rice with broth: It is unknown when the cooking rice with minced meat originated. At first, it was added flavor to the cooking rice, and the unfinished meat foam was directly poured on the rice. Later, it evolved into the current minced meat cooking. Stir-fry minced meat with seasoning first, then add broth to cook, stew it there after eating, and pour it on the cooking rice when eating.
Xiao huangyan fried noodles: fried rice noodles really play an important role in Taizhou snacks, because they are all found in cake containers and embedded cakes. The most distinctive thing is the small Huangyan fried noodles, which are made of five kinds of ingredients: minced eggs, mung bean sprouts, onions, cabbage and sliced meat. It is golden, crispy and quite attractive.
Yongquan tangerine: Yongquan tangerine near the sea is famous both at home and abroad for its "wonder in the world, eating oranges with skins". After testing by the Quality Inspection Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, it is evaluated that this kind of tangerine is "neat in shape, bright in color, thin in skin and crisp and tender in meat".
