Yangling belongs to Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province.

Yangling District is located in the middle of the Guanzhong Plain of Shaanxi Province, 82 kilometers east of the provincial capital Xi'an and 86 kilometers west of Baoji City. It is currently the only demonstration area in China.

Wugong County, about 10 kilometers away from Yangling District, is the birthplace of Chinese farming civilization.
