How to plan an itinerary for a week-long trip in Guangzhou that mainly focuses on food?

When traveling to Guangzhou, of course, you want to eat.

My travel arrangements are all about eating and eating.

Drinking tea and soup is a major feature of Guangzhou, and it is also a unique local food culture.

Delicious and authentic restaurants are often concentrated in the old city (Yuexiu District, Liwan District, Haizhu District), Panfu Road, Jiangnan West Road, Huifu East Road, Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street and other places.

D1: Food hunting at Shangxiajiu D2: Morning tea at Lianxianglou - Sha Mian - Sacred Heart Cathedral in Shishi - Linji afternoon tea D3: Shopping and sightseeing on Beijing Road Day 1 After checking into the hotel (near Shangxiajiu), you can go to Shangxia in the evening

For late night snacks on Baohua Road near Jiu, we recommend "Chen Tim Kee Fish Skin", "Baohua Noodle Shop" and "Shun Kee Ice Room".

In the morning of Day 2, we went to Lianxiang Tower for morning tea, and then went to visit Shamian.

For lunch, we had roasted pigeon at Lan Kwai Fong in Sha Mian. The snacks at White Swan Food House are good, you can also try them.

In the afternoon, we visited Shishi Sacred Heart Cathedral. Afternoon tea was served near Haizhu South Road. Everyone knows Linji, an authentic snack bar. Don’t worry about the hygiene of the store or the service attitude.

You must eat salty pancakes, salty lean meat porridge, and fried beef river when you come here.

14:00 in the afternoon is exactly when the second round of salty pancakes comes out of the pan.

In the evening, I went back to Shangxiajiu to go shopping. If I wanted to eat, I would find old restaurants nearby or go back to Baohua Road to eat.

Recommendation: Yuanji Rice Roll Rice Shop on Huagui Road, one of the best rice roll rice porridge shops in Guangzhou.

San Yuan Jidi Porridge, No. 871, Helongjin East Road, is a time-honored restaurant, very close to Wu Zhanji.

On Day3, you can choose to have morning tea near the Guangzhou Cultural Holiday Hotel, then go to Beijing Road and Tianhe Square to continue looking for food and shopping, and return in the afternoon to end the Guangzhou food tour.
