The heavy historical curtain hidden between mountains and rivers can hardly make you forget the natural mountains and rivers. However, the unique beauty and charm of this Wenzhou landscape make me feel relaxed and detached, and even completely intoxicated.

As a Wenzhou native, I have naturally been to many scenic spots in Wenzhou. If you travel to Wenzhou, then nanxi river is a must. This is a fascinating fairyland on earth.

Nanxi river, just listening to her name, can feel her charm. Even more savvy Wenzhou people have erected a large billboard of "nanxi river, the hometown of landscape poems" on the winding Linjiang highway along nanxi river. Even if they just drive by, they will be covered by this gorgeous nanxi river landscape poem.

Nanxi river is located in Yongjia, Wenzhou, with a north-south trend. When I mentioned Yongjia, I thought of Xie Lingyun, a great poet in the Southern Dynasties whose career was unfortunate. After being demoted, he served as the prefect of Yongjia here. Although he had a bad career, he ended his 49-year-old life prematurely under the knife of Emperor Wendi Liu Yilong of the Southern Song Dynasty. However, in the depressed years when his career was frustrated, he erased the resentment and anxiety in his heart with the spirituality of Yongjia landscape, and achieved a lot of beautiful landscape poems, which was the first of its kind in China. Perhaps it is this ethereal Yongjia landscape that makes his poems rich in artistic connotation.

As far as I know, nanxi river, which is 300 miles long, has more than 800 scenic spots, including Yantou, Daruoyan, Gypsum Rock, Shuiyan, Beikeng, Doumen and Sihai Mountain, among which I only visited nine Niu Yi hairs, but I have been conquered by the splendor of nanxi river.

This year in Tomb-Sweeping Day, my family went back to their hometown to visit their graves. After sweeping the grave, we went to nanxi river. We went to Kuxia Rock and Shiweiyan. As soon as we entered the scenic spot, we felt relaxed and happy.

The water in nanxi river is crystal clear, just like a mirror, reflecting my heart and touching me all the time. We are playing by the water, and the sweet water has been purifying my soul. The trees on both sides of the stone road are tall and mighty, magnificent and powerful, and full of green allows birds to fly freely and play; The mountains beside nanxi river have a unique charm. They are full of Changhong, which makes people feel awe.
