A 400-word essay on the beautiful Shangri-La
Part 1
Shangri-La is in Yunnan, and the beautiful Shangri-La always has a very blue sky and green glow. Grass, clean streets, and a bit of Tibetan style.
In the past few months, my mother told me: "Let dad take you to Shangri-La during the next winter vacation. There are many stars there at night, and the stars will blink!" At that time, I thought: Star? Great, I just love watching stars, not to mention the sky is full of stars and they can blink. I can’t let this opportunity pass me by! .In the next few days, I pestered my father every day to go to Shangri-La. In the end, my father was overpowered by me and agreed to let me go to Shangri-La, but I had to wait until the winter vacation, which was exactly what I wanted! Since this time was just enough for me to save some money to buy the things I wanted to go to Shangri-La, I was so lucky!
Shangri-La is so beautiful. Looking from a distance, one snow-capped mountain after another is immersed in thick fog. At the foot of the snow-capped mountains, there are occasionally a few sparkling rivers, which are made of snow. The lake is formed by water, and the small rivers merge into lake waves. The lake water is freezing cold and crystal clear. Coupled with the flowers all over the mountains and fields by the lake, it is extremely beautiful. Every flower blooms a smile to tourists. If you follow the lake waves When you take a walk, a few little squirrels will pop up from time to time and disappear suddenly, making you feel like you are magic. There are also many delicacies there, such as Tibetan highland barley wine, mare milk and butter tea. Drinking them will make you feel like you are covered in squirrels. It feels like numbness, sweet and sour, really delicious!
The Tibetan people in Shangri-La are good at singing and dancing, and are hospitable. They will present white hada to every immigrant tourist to express their blessings!
Shangri-La is really a beautiful place! During the winter vacation, I will go and experience the child-like Shangri-La in person. Everyone should also experience it if you have time!
Part 2
This summer vacation, my mother and I traveled to Yunnan and saw the legendary paradise——Shangri-La.
Shangri-La is in the north of Yunnan, close to Tibet. It's not like we have spring, summer, autumn and winter here, it only has spring - it's like spring all year round. In Shangri-La, it rains almost every day. After the rain, the sun comes out again. The sun came out, and there was a rainbow hanging in the blue sky and white clouds floating in it.
Under the sky, there is a grassland as far as the eye can see. The tender green grass sticks out from the ground, and the colorful flowers bloom, releasing their fragrance to attract people. The little squirrel jumps down from the tree to pick up pine cones to eat. It is not afraid of people and even deliberately raises its big tail in front of you, treating itself like a big star.
On the grassland, there are white cows, yellow cows, and black cows grazing by the lake, bumping into each other from time to time, as if saying hello to each other. The crows called "ah-ah-ah-" from time to time, as if they were also admiring and appreciating the fun of the grassland. A tall black mountain in the distance is reflected in the lake. Suddenly two big mountains appeared in front of me, and I couldn't tell which one was the mountain and which one was the shadow.
In the evening, a group of us went to a Tibetan home as a guest. When we arrive at the door of the host's house, the host will take the initiative to give each of us a white "hada" and toast us with a glass of wine to welcome us. We entered the host's house and sat around a large stove. The table was covered with various Tibetan snacks, including butter tea, highland barley buns, etc. The hospitable Tibetans even cooked braised yak for us to eat. We were also invited to sing and dance by the fire. We were eating, singing and dancing, like a big family.
Shangri-La is indeed our country’s paradise on earth! There, not only the scenery is beautiful, but the human soul is even more beautiful! People say, "There is heaven above, and there is Suzhou and Hangzhou below." But I think it is correct, "There is heaven above, and there is Yunnan below." Shangri-La in Yunnan is so beautiful, I love Shangri-La!
Part 3
"Beautiful Shangri-La, Paradise on Earth"
If you want to ask me what is the most beautiful place I have ever seen?
I will tell you without hesitation - paradise on earth, Shangri-La.
Last summer vacation, my father and mother and I drove to Shangri-La, Yunnan. Before setting off, I read many legends about Shangri-La from books. It is said that it is a very high altitude place where the Jinsha River, Lancang River and Nu River flow together. There are also many magical mountains, canyons, terraces, grasslands, forests and unique Tibetan folk customs are a holy land on earth that people all over the world yearn for, and a paradise with beautiful scenery!
With endless longing for Shangri-La, we drove to Yunnan. Looking from the right side of the car window, the clouds cover the fog, and the Meili Snow Mountain in the distance is looming in the clouds and fog, as if it is playing hide and seek with me. Green terraces, like emeralds inlaid on the mountainside, came into my sight. Groups of cattle and sheep grazing leisurely in the fields are like a magical and beautiful picture unfolding on the plateau!
At this time, there was a sudden roar of people, and I vaguely heard the thunderous sound of water flowing from a distance, shaking the valley.
Looking for the sound, I saw that the peaks and deep valleys in the distance were close to each other, and a yellow river rolled in the valley, like thousands of yellow war horses, galloping down in a mighty manner. It was so spectacular. I heard my father say, This scenic spot is called "Tiger Leaping Gorge".
According to legend, a tiger jumped from the north bank of Shangri-La to Lijiang on the south bank with the help of a huge stone in the middle of the water, hence the name Tiger Leaping Gorge. And I think this tiger should have fallen into the water and turned into the soul of Tiger Leaping Gorge. Look at the rough waves, aren't they the incarnation of that tiger?
The beautiful scenery of Shangri-La makes me dizzy. In this paradise, I was intoxicated by the farmhouses with wisps of smoke, the green terraces, the crystal clear river water, the warm sunshine, the fresh air and the lushly wooded mountains.
Shangri-La is the most beautiful place in my mind, with its beautiful mountains, beautiful water and nice people. If given the chance, I would do it again!
Part 4
Shangri-La, located in the northwest of Yunnan Province, is a mysterious, beautiful and ethnic place. This summer, I finally had the opportunity to uncover it. Her mysterious veil.
Shangri-La means the sun and moon in the heart in Tibetan, representing holiness and peace. Looking at the beautiful exotic scenery outside the car window, I completely forgot about the discomfort caused by the higher and higher altitudes. The vast grasslands, green highland barley grass, mysterious Lama temples and unique farmhouses beside the highway... The kind tour guide arranged for us to visit the homes of Tibetan people so that we could get closer to their lives.
Before we even reached the Tibetan home, we were attracted by the high-pitched and passionate singing. The host had already led his family in a queue to welcome us, holding highland barley wine and Hada. We also respectfully raised our ring fingers and Put your thumbs together and flick the wine, then drink it all in one gulp, thanking the host for their hospitality.
The host took us to a large living room with a large stage in the middle and several rows of benches neatly arranged around it. On the table were fried highland barley, butter tea, roasted potatoes, and plateau noodle steamed buns. Although it's a bit unfamiliar, the taste is very special. The Tashi Dolmas were singing and dancing around the stove. What made me drool the most was the braised chicken. The fresh air was mixed with the smell of meat. I couldn’t wait...
Eat enough After drinking enough, we also sang and danced with Tashi Dolma. Although we couldn't keep up with the beat, we were completely integrated into the happy atmosphere.
This evening is still fresh in my memory. The Tibetan people are hospitable, good at singing and dancing, and their heroic character deeply moved me.
