At 2 13 km northwest of Warsaw, there is a beautiful city called Torun, which is the hometown of the great astronomer Mikolaj Copernic.

Before Copernicus was born, Torun was under the rule of the Knights Cross for a long time. Later, the Torun people could not bear the oppression, and together with the residents of other cities, they launched a struggle against the Knights.

This just war against oppression lasted for 13 years, and it didn't end until 1466 with the signing of Torun Peace Treaty.
