In order to meet the demand of 70 million visitors during the operation of the Shanghai World Expo, the Expo Park (including the Watergate outside the Expo Park) will provide three modes of transportation services, namely, rail transit line 1, ground bus line 3, sightseeing line 2, river-crossing ferry line 5, entry Watergate line 4 and exit Watergate line 3.

The rail transit Expo special line runs "three stops and two sections" and will undertake river-crossing traffic in and out of the park.
1. Line and location
The three stations and two sections of the Expo special line are 3.2 kilometers long. These three stations are Madang Road Station, Lupu Bridge Station in Puxi Park and Expo Avenue Station in Pudong Park.
2. Capacity allocation
The Expo Special Line is equipped with 6 marshalling trains and 4 trains, 2 in operation and 2 in standby.
3. Running time
The operation time is from 9: 00 to 24: 00. In addition, there are two commutes before and after the opening of the park.
(2) Ground bus
There are three ground bus lines in the park: Expo River Crossing Line, Expo Avenue Line and Longhua East Line.
1. Expo River Crossing Line
The Expo River Crossing Line connects Pudong and Puxi Park, and mainly undertakes the river crossing traffic in the park, taking into account the regional traffic in Pudong Park.
Lines and stations: The lines mainly run in Guozhan Road, Tibet South Road Tunnel and Longhua East Road, with a one-way length of 7 kilometers and a two-way length of 14 kilometers; The line has five stations in one direction, namely Enterprise Pavilion Station, Asia Station, China Pavilion Station, Theme Pavilion Station and America Station.
Capacity allocation: pure electric vehicles are adopted, with peak allocation of 108 vehicles and 8 vehicles for standby.
Operation time: 9:00-24:00.
2. Expo Avenue Line
The Expo Avenue line runs back and forth on the Expo Avenue, mainly serving the regional traffic in Pudong Park.
Lines and stations: The two-way total length is 4.6 kilometers (one-way length is 2 .3 kilometers), with a total of stations 1 1, namely Expo Avenue Station, Europe Station, International Organization Pavilion Station, Food Plaza Station, Asia Station, Expo Cultural Center Station, Expo Center Station, Baosteel Grand Stage Station, Houtan Park Station, M3 Watergate Wharf Station and Houtan Park Station.
Capacity allocation: 32 vehicles are allocated in peak period, and 4 vehicles are reserved.
Operation time: 9:00-24:00.
3. Longhua East Road
Longhua East Road runs to and from Longhua East Road in Puxiyuan District, connecting Puxi Enterprise Pavilion and subway station.
Lines and stations: one-way length1.3km, two-way length 2.6km; There are 7 stations on the whole line, namely Railway Pavilion Station (South), Aerospace Pavilion Station (South), Luban Road Entrance Station, Aerospace Pavilion Station (North), Railway Pavilion Station (North), Chuanting Station and Bansongyuan Road Entrance Station.
Capacity configuration: 4 pure electric buses, 2 in operation and 2 in standby.
Operation time: 9:00-24:00. Because this line overlaps with some sections of the float parade, it stopped running during the float parade.
(3) Sightseeing routes in the park
Pudong Park has two sightseeing routes, namely Bocheng Road and Elevated Trail. Sightseeing route fare 10 yuan/person, boarding fee is charged. There is only a drop-off point in the middle, so you can only get on and not get off.
Lines and stops: One-way length of Bocheng Road sightseeing line1.5km, with two stops at Changqing North Road and Gaoke West Road; The one-way length of the elevated trail is1.8km, and the starting and ending points are set at Houtan entrance and exit station and Expo Axis station.
Capacity allocation: 60 hydrogen fuel sightseeing bus vehicles are allocated in the peak period of the two lines, and 10 vehicles are reserved.
Operation time: 9:00-24:00. When the float parade and the passenger flow in the park reach a certain density, the sightseeing route will be temporarily suspended.
(4) Water traffic
Water transportation includes Watergate route and cross-river ferry.
1. Watergate route

Operating lines: four Watergate lines, namely, Qinhuangdao Road Watergate to M2 Wharf, Park Changzhan Watergate to M 1 Wharf, Park Shiliupu Watergate to M 1 Wharf, Park M2 and M3 Wharf, and Park Dongchang Road Watergate to M 1 Wharf, will be opened; The operation time of Qinhuangdao Road Watergate admission route is 08: 00- 12: 00, and the flight interval is 30 minutes; The running time of the Watergate entrance route of Jichang Station is 08: 00- 1 1: 30, and the flight interval is 30 minutes. Shiliupu Watergate Admission Route runs from 08: 00 am to11:20 am with a flight interval of 20 minutes, and from16: 15-16: 45 pm with a flight interval of15 minutes. The Watergate Admission Route of Dongchang Road runs at 08: 00-1:20 a.m. with a flight interval of 20 minutes and at 16: 30- 17: 30 p.m. with a flight interval of 30 minutes (see the flight schedule for details).
Capacity and passenger capacity: 13 Expo cruise ships (450 or 300 seats) and 6 passenger ferries (500 seats) will be put into operation.
(2) Departure route
During the operation of Shanghai World Expo, Huangpu River is the main route for water traffic leaving the park from 18: 00 to 23: 30 every day, with a total of 13 sightseeing boats. The main route starts from the Mi, M2 and M3 Watergates in the park and returns to Shiliupu Watergate via Lujiazui and the North Bund. The sailing time is 80 minutes, and the basic fare is 60 yuan.
The three departure Watergate routes are: M 1 Pier to Shiliupu Watergate, M2 Pier to Shiliupu Watergate and M3 Pier to Shiliupu Watergate, depending on the flight information of the day.
(3) Watergate facilities
The four sluices outside the park are located at Shiliupu, Qinhuangdao Road, Airport Station and Dongchang Road. 8 total berths; Three sluices (1, M2 and M3) in the park are adjacent to the 1, L2 and L6 ferry terminals in the park respectively.

2. Cross-river ferry
There are 6 ferry terminals and 5 river-crossing ferry routes in the park, which mainly undertake river-crossing traffic.
Transportation facilities: 16 500-seat passenger ferries; There are two double berths and 1 single berth on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and there are 10 berths. Among them, L 1, L3 and L5 are located in Puxi Park (arranged from downstream to upstream), and L2, L4 and L6 are located in Pudong Park (arranged from downstream to upstream).
Route arrangement: There are five routes, namely, H 1 Route (L 1-L2), H2 Route (L2-L3), H3 Route (L3-L4), H4 Route (L4-L5) and H5 Route (L5-L6).
Operation time: 09: 00-23: 30. Where: H 1, H3 and H5 are from 09: 00 to 23: 30; H2 and H4 routes 10: 00 ~ 22: 00.
Flight arrangement: 2 World Blog ferries are arranged on each route during peak hours, and the flight interval is 15 minutes; During peak hours, four World Blog ferries are arranged to operate, with a flight interval of 7.5 minutes and 600 flights throughout the day.
During the World Expo, the Expo Park provided relatively convenient public transportation for tourists through the coordinated operation of rail, ground bus and water transportation, and formed a three-dimensional public transportation network. The coverage rate of public transport stations in the park is 95%, with an average distance of 200-300 meters, which can provide good transport services for tourists.
