The Scientific Outlook on Development tells us that the first priority is development, the core is people-oriented, the fundamental approach is overall planning, and the basic requirement is comprehensive coordination and sustainability. According to this theoretical requirement, as a tourism worker, especially as a tourism industry manager, he directly deals with enterprises and serves tourists and tourism operators. He should test the quality of service and learn and practice scientific development. important criterion for observing effectiveness. This has two meanings, one is the service quality of managers, and the other is the service quality of the tourism industry. So how to improve the quality of tourism services and management? I believe that we must formulate work ideas in a down-to-earth manner, set work goals in a down-to-earth manner, innovate measures in a practical manner, and carry out work honestly.
1. Work ideas. Focusing closely on improving the quality of tourism services, focusing on "changing working methods, expanding service scope, and adjusting evaluation methods", we will strengthen the standardization and management of tourism service quality, and make contributions to the three entrepreneurships of tourism and the promotion of industrial transformation and upgrading. Make a positive contribution.
2. Work goals. Develop "two teams" of traditional business formats and emerging business formats, promote the "two informatization construction" of industry standardization and service refinement, improve the "two systems" of industry management and industry self-discipline, strive to enhance the development power and cohesion of the tourism team, and effectively improve tourism services quality.
3. Work measures
(1) Develop and expand the tourism team. First, we thoroughly implemented the star rating standards for tourist hotels, actively promoted star creation and promotion, and carried out standardized guidance. Three new star-rated hotels were developed in the city. The second is to fully implement the new "Travel Agency Regulations", formulate and implement travel agency evaluation and scoring methods, support the development and growth of travel agencies, standardize travel agency business practices, and develop 2 new travel agencies in the city. The third is to explore and formulate a management system for tour guides and commentators, establish and improve the files of the tour guide team, and strive to improve the overall quality and service level. The city has newly developed 50 business tour guides or commentators and 10 government tour guides or commentators. The fourth is to carry out tourism reception unit recommendation activities in potential industries such as food stalls, bars and restaurants, arts and crafts, specialty products, sports and leisure, entertainment and performing arts in the city, and strive to build them into new tourism formats. The city has recommended 20 new tourism reception units.
(2) Effectively strengthen industry management. First, in accordance with the requirements of the Provincial Tourism Bureau, a special inspection was conducted on the implementation of the "Travel Agency Regulations" (New) and "Sichuan Province Tourism Regulations". The second is to improve the tourism service quality supervision and management system, insist on paying equal attention to supervision and inspection and standardization and guidance, and go deep into all aspects of production, sales, consumption, public services, etc., and implement full-process, multi-link supervision and management. In 2009, we started to establish and improve the tourism service quality supervisor system and the tourism statistical assessment and scoring system. Evaluation methods for tourist hotels, travel agencies, and tour guides (docents), and tourism service quality inspection and publicity systems. The third is to improve the internal quality management system of tourism enterprises, set up internal quality supervision institutions, and equip full-time (part-time) quality supervisors to guide enterprises to standardize operations and enhance soft power. The fourth is to use the "Promote Consumption, Civilized Tourism" activity as a carrier to vigorously strengthen the construction of integrity and the construction of spiritual civilization in the industry, produce civilized tourism service guides and integrity conventions, and place them in tourism enterprises and institutions.
(3) Improve the level of self-discipline in the tourism industry. The first is to improve and re-elect the Municipal Tourism Association, enrich the strength of the association, and strengthen the team of the association; start to improve branches such as hotels, and accelerate the formation of an organizational system for the tourism factor industry. The second is to speed up the establishment of the association's working system and organize activities such as integrity construction, quality evaluation, standardized operations, and skills competitions to improve self-discipline, enhance vitality and cohesion. The third is to strengthen coordination and interaction with tourism industry-related associations such as consumer associations and neighboring city and state tourism associations by organizing inspections and holding social gatherings, etc., and establish a working mechanism for mutual collaboration and cooperation, making it a key to improving the quality of tourism services. Promote power.
(4) Carry out in-depth on-the-job training activities. The first is to conduct a knowledge competition based on the "Tourist Hotel Star Rating Standards" and "Travel Agency Regulations" to improve the policy level and theoretical level of tourism practitioners. The second is to organize a city-wide star hotel service skills competition in conjunction with the province's "Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China Star-rated Hotel Service Skills Competition", setting up competitions such as Chinese food table setting, Western food table setting, Chinese-style auxiliary beds and front desk service, in order to This promotes communication and improves skills. The third is to carry out three tourist hotel experience exchange activities, allowing grassroots waiters to perform on stage, and select the "Top Ten" service stars in the hotel industry in Guang'an City. On this basis, "stars" will be organized to tour tourist hotels in various places to exert a "model demonstration" effect. The fourth is to organize a tour guide and commentator explanation skills competition in conjunction with the province's tour guide explanation skills competition to promote the improvement of the overall quality of the tour guide and commentator team. The fifth is to carry out the selection activity of "Top Ten Famous Dishes of Guang'an Favorite among Tourists" and promote and display them in a timely manner. The sixth is to integrate the city's tourism talent resources, effectively absorb middle and senior managers and grassroots service stars from the city's tourism enterprises and institutions, build a Guang'an tourism training teacher pool, and create a first-class training teacher team. On this basis, we go deep into tourism enterprises to help carry out job training, skills training and product planning guidance.
