Per capita consumption is 90NT. This is a prison themed restaurant with a fun decor. The entrance of the restaurant is decorated like a cage, which makes it not depressing. For the first time in my life, I discovered that prison culture can be very cute.

The menu here is very special and the dishes are also very unique. There are prison rice (octopus and seaweed rice bowl), political rice (venison rice bowl), fried rice (sashimi rice bowl), wanted rice (pork rib rice), etc. and fresh dishes with Green Island characteristics.

Prison food: Its steamed fish and sashimi are super fresh, but the sashimi is cut a bit thick, it would be perfect if it was a little thinner. The omelette is good, the mandarin fish and kelp soup is also very good, less than 500NT, and the venison stir-fried with green onions is super tender.

Its business hours are 9:00-23:00, and the per capita consumption is about 74NT. This is my favorite prison themed dessert shop. The interior is decorated like a prison, with iron bars and prison graffiti painted on the walls. And the names of each ice product here have also been named with words related to prisons, such as prison methamphetamine, parole methamphetamine, confinement methamphetamine, prison escape methamphetamine, etc. Each ice product has a cool name! Friends who come to Green Island for the first time must try the "Welcome Ice" made of aiyu, red beans, pearls and grass jelly.

Dongsheng Hot Spring Mutton Stove

This store is located at No. 1, No. 42, Block 11, Guangong Village, Green Island, Taitung County, with per capita consumption of 50NT. It is a popular local restaurant, similar to hot pot cuisine. You can add mutton, enoki mushrooms, cabbage, tofu, noodles, etc. It opens at 6 a.m. and closes when the food is sold out. When there are many people, the store will set up tables in the open space outside the store for guests to dine. Therefore, friends, if you want to eat, you must hurry up~

The mutton is skin-on. It tastes soft and sweet, but not too strong. Delicious enough. One serving is enough for two people. In addition to mutton stoves, there are also venison stoves. Its noodles are my favorite. Garlic is added to the noodles, which gives it a very strong flavor.
