Jiayuguan, known as "the first male pass in the world", is located in the middle of the narrowest valley 5 kilometers west of Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province. The walls on both sides of the city pass through the desert Gobi, connecting the Great Wall of Montenegro in the north and the world's first pier in the south. It is the westernmost part of the Ming Great Wall. It was once called the throat of Hexi in history. Because of its dangerous terrain and magnificent buildings, it is called lock key.

Antique Customs Clearance Ceremony During the International Gliding Festival held in Jiayuguan City, the municipal government held a grand "Antique Customs Clearance Ceremony" in Jiayuguan City. The content of the ceremony is mainly that the guests dressed in the costumes of ancient military officers and soldiers imitate the scenes of ancient soldiers when they go through Jiayuguan. The basic procedure of the ceremony is:

(1) The mayor announced the beginning of the antique ceremony, set off firecrackers, opened the key to Jiayuguan Guancheng and pushed open two iron doors;

(2) a letter officially announced;

(3) selling and distributing nursing products and verifying their identities;

(4) Invite VIPs to go through customs by antique carriages and camels and play music. Performances such as Dunhuang group dance, Shaanxi opera, Taiping drum and Ansai waist drum were performed in Guancheng;

(5) Inscription, signature and painting on 100 meter long silk;

(6) After going through the customs, the antique team faced the statue of Zhu Yuanzhang, bid farewell to Jiayuguan and continued to climb westward.
