Growing up, I visited many beautiful scenery, but the one that impressed me most was the breathtaking Summer Palace.
I came here with excitement on this day.
The first thing that caught my eye was the grand gate of the Summer Palace.
There is a pair of lions next to the gate. The male lion has big eyes and wide mouth, and he is holding an hydrangea with his paws, looking mighty and majestic.
The female lion stood upright, protecting the little lion in her arms. The pair of lions seemed to be protecting their home.
There are several vermilion pillars in front of the door, a row of yellow nails on the door, and two door knockers.
There is also a plaque with a blue background on it, with three large golden characters written from left to right: Summer Palace.
Walking in, we came to Wanshou Mountain with an altitude of 108.49 meters. We saw tall and straight trees standing all around, so lush that they looked like a piece of green emerald from a distance.
According to legend, there is a little story here!
On the 60th birthday of Qianlong's mother, Qianlong renamed the mountain Wanshou Mountain and gave the mountain to his mother.
Walking up to the square platform of Wanshou Mountain, the majestic Buddhist Incense Pavilion is right in front of you. It has eight sides, three floors and four eaves, and is built around the mountain.
Walking further in, we came to the corridor, which is 728 meters long, has 273 rooms, and 548 pillars. It starts from Yaoyue Gate in the east and ends at Shizhang Pavilion in the west.
The corridor is also a colorful gallery. Each beam in the corridor is painted with colorful paintings. The colors are bright and magnificent. There are also paintings of landscapes, flowers and birds, as well as four classic Chinese masterpieces, "Journey to the West", "Journey to the West" and "Journey to the West".
"Romance of the Three Kingdoms", "A Dream of Red Mansions", "Water Margin".
The corridor also has three unique features. The first is its unique shape, which looks like an upside-down bat when viewed from top to bottom, indicating the arrival of good fortune. The second is its unique location. It is adjacent to Longevity Mountain in the north and Kunming Lake in the south.
Warm in winter and cool in summer.
The third unique feature is the structure. The long corridor is a bracket structure, all made of wood without a single nail. This is the exquisite memory left by our ancestors.
Finally, there is Kunming Lake. The most famous thing about Kunming Lake is the Seventeen-hole Bridge. It is 14.6 meters wide under the bridge deck, 6.65 meters wide on the bridge deck, 7 meters high and 150 meters long. It is the largest stone bridge in the park.
The bridge is composed of seventeen holes, spanning the East Embankment and Nanhu Island, and looks like a rainbow lying on the waves.
The lake here is very quiet, and only the movement of the paddle can cause ripples. Sometimes it is very clear, so clear that you can see small fish swimming, and sometimes it is very beautiful.
This is the beautiful Summer Palace, which makes people forget to leave.
Is life convenient?
