Qiu's former residence is located in Anjun Village (now Feng Jia Village), Wenfu Town, Jiaoling County, Guangdong Province, which is also called Peiyuan Hall. Qiu's former residence was built in the 22nd year of Guangxu reign (1896) when Qiu returned to Jiaoling from Taiwan Province. It is a typical Hakka enclosed house with two halls, four horizontal walls and one enclosure, covering an area of 10000 square meters.
