Chen Wenyu, a native of Leizhou, served as the secretariat of Zhenguan Hezhou for five years. Make every effort to govern, reward agriculture and support the people. In the eighth year of Zhenguan, Chen Wenyu played in the imperial court and requested that Hezhou be changed to Leizhou, which was approved, hence the name "Leizu". Leizu Temple is built on the mountain, with the central axis of the mountain gate, main hall, side hall, back hall, bell and drum tower, stele gallery and so on. Most of the existing buildings are left over from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. 1996 was announced by the State Council as the fourth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

Guisheng Academy, located at No.237 Guisheng Road, Procedural Town, xuwen county, Zhanjiang City, was founded by Tang Xianzu, a great dramatist in Ming Dynasty. In the 19th year of Wanli (159 1), when Tang Xianzu demoted Xu Wen as a historian, he found that the local folk customs were pressing and many young people died, so he came up with the idea of establishing an academy education to change customs, and named it "Guisheng", that is, putting life first. Among the existing academies, only Dacheng Hall was built in the early Ming Dynasty, and the rest were rebuilt after 1986.
