This theatrical release serves as the perfect conclusion to the Violet Eternal Garden series, centering the story around Violet. As the story develops, and the insertion of a subplot suggesting that the Major is still alive, the purpose of this theatrical release as a complement to Violet's portrayal of Violet is gradually revealed to be the main thread.

In the middle of the story, a subplot is inserted about the sick teenager Uris, and the idea that one should cherish the opportunity to pass on thoughts to those one misses is conveyed, which is alluded to in Violet's regret at not being able to pass on her thoughts to the Major.

Then the main thread comes to the point where Violet is given a clue that the Major should be alive and sets out to find him.
