1. Store in straw bags. If it is alive, you can ask the crab seller for a straw bag they use when buying crabs, put the live crab into the straw bag, and then put the straw bag into the cold storage compartment of the refrigerator.
2. Use oxygenating equipment. If you have aeration equipment, that would be the best. Just put the hairy crabs in a bucket or basin of water and turn on the aeration equipment.
3. Use ancient wells for preservation. There are also ancient stone wells in rural areas. The water in them is relatively fluid, clean and cool. There are also many small fish and shrimps for food, which are more suitable for preservation. You can put the hairy crabs in a large frame or net and put them directly into the ancient well. Do not put them all into the water, otherwise the crabs will suffocate due to lack of oxygen.
4. Use buckets or basins. There must be a large bucket or basin at home, try to use one with a wider bottom and smooth inner wall; put the hairy crabs in, and then pour in water so that it can cover about half or less of the hairy crab body. The main thing is Moisturize, do not bury all the hairy crabs, otherwise the crabs will suffocate due to lack of oxygen; and put them in a slightly shady place.
