The first is to limit time. In other words, the excavation is limited to 1-2 times before "Winter Solstice" or "beginning of winter".
The second is to clarify the scope. Dig only bamboo shoots in bamboo forest land, not bamboo shoots on the edge of forest and open space in forest. Purposefully protect and induce bamboo shoots and diabolos at the forest edge, create good growth conditions and make them become forests as soon as possible.
The third is to cover the soil in time. When winter bamboo shoots are dug in cold winter, their roots are exposed on the ground, which makes them vulnerable to freezing injury. After it rains, water tends to accumulate in ditches and holes, resulting in rotten whips. After taking soil, we should immediately cover the soil and bury the roots, and properly apply organic fertilizer to improve the rate of bamboo shoots on the forest.
The fourth is to change the way. In other words, instead of planing and whipping, we choose bamboo with lush leaves, dark green leaves and a small amount of yellow leaves as the object of bamboo shoots. The direction in which the next bamboo branch of the upright bamboo extends is parallel to the direction of the bamboo whip, and then observe the ground along this direction. If you see a place where the clods are slightly raised, loose and cracked on the ground, you may find bamboo shoots by stepping on them with your feet. In addition, bamboo shoots can also be found in dark and humid places in small circles on the well-cultivated or shoveled forest land on sunny mornings. Don't hurt the whip, roots and buds when digging bamboo shoots.
The fifth is to determine the object. Only dig big bamboo shoots, not small bamboo shoots, young bamboo shoots and sparse bamboo shoots, and leave bamboo shoots to raise bamboo in the forest. Change the past habit of "raising bamboo in big year and digging bamboo shoots in small year". Keep bamboo shoots and raise bamboo. With a few annual holidays, we can turn bamboo mountains of different years into bamboo mountains of flowering years, that is, the quantity and quality of bamboo shoots and long bamboos are basically the same every year. Note that winter bamboo shoots should not be dug in sparse bamboo forests where the bamboo density is below 0/33 plants per mu/kloc, that is, the plant spacing is more than 2.24 meters.
