Happiness tree, with its lush foliage and small green leaves, is very ornamental. It attracts people's attention whether it is placed indoors or outdoors, shows strong vitality and can purify the air, so it is loved by many people. So, how to raise the happiness tree? What are the maintenance methods? Here, Uncle Gardener introduces the maintenance methods and precautions of Happiness Tree.
I. Temperature
Happiness trees are produced in tropical and subtropical areas, and they like warm and hot environments. The most suitable growth temperature is around 20℃, with the highest not exceeding 28℃ and the lowest not lower than 8℃. In summer, when the temperature is higher than 28℃, it is best to put the happiness tree indoors, or give it proper shelter, and at the same time pay attention to increasing the environment and spraying water on the leaves to help it cool down. In autumn and winter, it is best to maintain the greenhouse temperature of not less than 8℃ to avoid cold damage to leaves or fallen leaves.
Second, the light
Happiness trees like sunshine, and can survive in shade, full sunshine or semi-shade environment. In areas where the sun shines too much in summer, be careful not to be exposed to the sun. Outside, you can build a small shed above the happiness tree, with three sides transparent and the top shaded.
Third, water
Happiness trees like a humid environment, but pay attention to whether the roots can be soaked and the soil can be kept wet. In summer, the temperature is high, and the water consumption of plants is high. Always check the soil moisture, water it in time, and increase the humidity to help cool down.
Fourth, fertilization
Happiness trees grow rapidly, and the demand for nutrients is very great. The soil should be turned over and fertilized frequently to avoid the lack of elements in the soil and affect the growth of happiness trees. Generally, the mixed fertilizer with the ratio of N, P and K of 20- 10- 10 or15-15 can be used, or diluted thin fat water can be used to irrigate the basin soil instead of clear water.
V. Soil
The soil for raising happiness trees should be loose, fertile, well drained and breathable, and rich in organic matter. Usually, it is prepared by mixing 5 parts of garden soil, 3 parts of humus soil, decomposed organic fertilizer 1 part and river sand 1 part. The happy tree should be loosened once a month during the growing season to ensure that its roots are always in a good state of permeability.
Six, pests and diseases
1, leaf spot
In the environment of high temperature, high humidity and poor ventilation, the leaves of happiness trees are easy to be infected with leaf spot. It is a preventive method to strengthen ventilation and avoid water retention on the leaves for a long time. Once a small number of diseased leaves are found, they should be removed in time, and 600 times of 50% carbendazim wettable powder should be sprayed regularly once every half month for 3-4 times in a row.
2. Scale insects
In autumn and winter, happiness trees are placed indoors for a long time, and the ventilation and ventilation are poor, so the trunk leaves of happiness trees are prone to the danger of scale insects. In addition to strengthening ventilation and light transmission and paying attention to controlling environmental humidity, 25% chlorpyrifos wettable powder 1500 times solution is used for spraying and killing, and other chemicals, such as Guoguang scale, methomyl and so on, have good effects.
3, mites
Mites usually occur from June to September, and the high temperature and dry environment will lead to a large number of mites, which can be eliminated by acaricides such as Mijing, Daifenling and Nisolong.
4. Aphids
The most common aphid is the green peach aphid. The main symptom of the long aphid is that the leaves are wrinkled and deformed, and there are usually crystal dew spots. The aphid can also be seen by the naked eye. Spraying with zinc thion, omethoate and diphacinone can effectively control it.

Matters needing attention in the cultivation of happy trees
First of all, we should pay attention to the environmental temperature in the cultivation of happiness trees. Generally, the temperature is controlled around 20℃ during the day and around 28℃ at night. Too high or too low temperature will affect the growth of happiness trees. It is best to control it around 10℃ in winter.
Secondly, it is the control of humidity. Happiness trees like humid environment, and they can spray water on the leaves every day. In hot summer, they should spray water at least twice a day. Be careful not to spray water at noon, which will easily affect plants.
Finally, the happiness tree is kept at home, mainly for viewing. Pruning the happiness tree during the growth process can maintain its appearance and clean the dead leaves and diseased leaves in time.
