Located in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, Shoutao Lake Scenic Area is an all-weather public fitness and leisure attraction. Shoutao Lake used to be a mining area for mining Jinshan stone. After the mining plants were closed one after another, small ponds were formed in the low-lying areas of abandoned quarries, and gradually gathered into four large ponds. The largest pond, with an area of 1.7 square kilometers, is not only the largest water area in Mudu area, but also one of the clearest and deepest water areas in the central city of Suzhou, with excellent water quality and reaching the standard of direct drinking water.
