Indications: nourishing kidney and yin, benefiting qi and promoting fluid production. It can improve the clinical symptoms such as polydipsia, polyuria and polyphagia, and has a good hypoglycemic effect. Signs indicate type 2 diabetes.
Note: Take it 30 minutes before meals. Because the drug contains glibenclamide, it is forbidden to take it at the same time with glibenclamide to avoid severe hypoglycemia. Use with caution for severe liver and kidney diseases, 1 diabetic patients should not take it.
(2) Jiangtangshu. Main ingredients: Ginseng, Radix Rehmanniae, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, Radix Astragali, Rhizoma Polygonati, Radix Acanthopanacis Senticosi, Semen Litchi, Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, etc.
Indications: benefiting qi and nourishing yin, promoting fluid production and quenching thirst. It has a certain effect on improving clinical symptoms such as dry mouth, constipation and fatigue and lowering blood sugar. Indications of type 2 diabetes without serious complications.
Precautions: 1 type diabetes and those with serious complications should not take it.
(3) Yuquan Pill. It is an effective medicine for treating diabetes by famous doctors in Qing Dynasty. At present, Yuquan pills on the market are developed on the basis of the first generation of Yuquan pills, together with traditional Chinese medicines such as Radix Puerariae, Pollen, Radix Rehmanniae and Fructus Schisandrae.
Indications: benefiting qi, promoting fluid production, clearing away heat and vexation, nourishing kidney and yin. Pharmacological research shows that this prescription has certain hypoglycemic effect. Indications: patients with mild to moderate type 2 diabetes and elderly diabetes.
Side effects: Some patients have gastrointestinal reactions after long-term use.
(4) Jiangtangjia tablets. Main ingredients: Radix Astragali, Rhizoma Polygonati, Radix Pseudostellariae, Radix Rehmanniae and pollen.
Indications: benefiting qi and nourishing yin, promoting fluid production and quenching thirst. Signs indicate type 2 diabetes.

(5) Ganlu Xiaoke Capsule. Main ingredients: Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, Radix Rehmanniae, Radix Codonopsis, Semen Cuscutae, Radix Astragali, Radix Ophiopogonis, Radix Asparagi, Radix Scrophulariae, Corni Fructus, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Poria, Alismatis Rhizoma, etc.
Indications: nourishing yin and kidney, benefiting qi and promoting fluid production. Pharmacological test: this product has obvious hypoglycemic effect on alloxan-induced hyperglycemia in mice and adrenaline-induced hyperglycemia in rats. Signs indicate type 2 diabetes.
Side effects: No obvious side effects.
(6) Liuwei Dihuang Pills and Maiwei Dihuang Pills.
Indications: Nourishing yin and tonifying kidney, indicating type 2 diabetes with liver and kidney yin deficiency. Jinkui Shenqi Pill has the function of tonifying kidney and warming yang, and is mainly used to treat type 2 diabetes with kidney-yang deficiency. Pharmacological experiments show that Liuwei Dihuang Pill and Maiwei Dihuang Pill not only have hypoglycemic effect, but also have lipid-lowering effect. But it is not suitable for diabetes with yin deficiency and heat excess.
(7) Dendrobium luminous pills. Main ingredients: Radix Asparagi, Radix Ginseng, Poria, Radix Ophiopogonis, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, Radix Rehmanniae, Semen Cuscutae, Flos Chrysanthemi, Semen Cassiae, Semen Armeniacae Amarum, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Fructus Lycii, Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae, Fructus Schisandrae, Fructus Tribuli, Herba Cistanches, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata, Fructus Aurantii, Semen Celosiae, Radix Saposhnikoviae, rhinoceros horn, antelope horn, etc. Make honey pills.
Indications: nourishing liver and kidney, nourishing liver and calming liver, and improving eyesight. It has certain curative effect on diabetic retinopathy and early diabetic cataract.
(8) Mingmu Dihuang Pill. Main ingredients: Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, Radix Rehmanniae, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Alismatis Rhizoma, Fructus Jujubae Peel, Cortex Moutan, Bupleuri Radix, Poria, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, and Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis.
Indications: nourishing liver and kidney, calming liver and improving eyesight. It has certain curative effect on diabetic retinopathy and early cataract.
(9) Shenqi Jiangtang Tablets. Main ingredients: ginsenoside, Schisandra chinensis, Chinese yam, Radix Rehmanniae, Radix Ophiopogonis, etc.
Indications: benefiting qi and nourishing yin, invigorating spleen and tonifying kidney. It has certain hypoglycemic effect on alloxan diabetic mice. Signs indicate type 2 diabetes.
Note: those with excess heat syndrome are prohibited.
(10) Kelening Capsule. Main ingredients: Radix Astragali, Radix Rehmanniae, etc.
Indications: benefiting qi and nourishing yin, promoting fluid production and quenching thirst. This product can reduce the blood sugar of alloxan-induced diabetic rats and increase the levels of plasma insulin and C-peptide. It is mainly used for treating diabetes with deficiency of both qi and yin, with symptoms of thirst, polydipsia, vexation, fever, fatigue, hyperhidrosis, palpitation, etc.
(1 1) Xiaokeling tablets. Main ingredients: Radix Rehmanniae, Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis, Radix Ophiopogonis, Cortex Moutan, Radix Astragali, Rhizoma Coptidis, Poria, Ginseng Radix Rubri, Trichosanthis Radix, Gypsum Fibrosum, and Fructus Lycii.
Indications: nourishing kidney yin, promoting fluid production to quench thirst, benefiting qi and lowering blood sugar. Signs indicate type 2 diabetes.
(12) Jinqi Jiangtang Tablet.
Indications: clearing away heat and invigorating qi, and treating thirst caused by qi deficiency and internal heat, with symptoms of thirst, overeating, shortness of breath and fatigue. Used for mild and moderate type 2 diabetes.
Note: Occasionally, abdominal distension will relieve itself after continuing taking the medicine.
(13) Tangmaikang granules.
Indications: invigorating qi and nourishing yin, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis. It is mainly used to treat type 2 diabetes, and also has a certain preventive and therapeutic effect on diabetic complications.
