Myna is also called Qin Ji, Jiugong Bird, Hainan Myna, Hainan Myna, Passeriformes and sturnidae.

Distribution: India to China, Southeast Asia, palawan island and Greater sunda islands.

Distribution: The subspecies intermedia is a resident bird, which is found in the tropical lowlands of southeast and south Tibet, including Hainan Island. It is common in the region, but the number is greatly reduced because it is caught as a caged bird.

Habit: Living in tall trees, moving in pairs, sometimes forming groups.
