Niu Gensheng[1], male, was born in Inner Mongolia in 1958. Entrepreneur, philanthropist, founder of Inner Mongolia Mengniu Dairy Group[2], founder and honorary president of the Old Bull Foundation, and "the first person in the world to donate shares".
In 1978, he became a cattle worker at the Hohhot Dahaihe Milk Factory, and in 1999, he founded Inner Mongolia Mengniu Dairy (Group) Co., Ltd. and assumed the position of chairman and president.
On June 10, 2011, Mengniu Dairy released an announcement saying that the founder, Niu Gensheng, resigned from the position of chairman of the board of directors.
