Does Weishan Maojian belong to green tea or yellow tea?
Maojian tea in Weishan is a special example. Yellow tea and green tea are just different in processing technology. If Maojian tea produced in Weishan is made according to the green tea process, it is green tea, and yellow tea is made according to the yellow tea process. Both kinds of tea are sold in the market. If it refers to the ancient Zhangjia Maojian tea in the famous historical tea, it should refer to yellow tea.

The following information is quoted from Wikipedia:

Weishan Maojian tea is produced in Weishan Township, Ningxiang County, Hunan Province. Named after Weishan, it belongs to a kind of yellow tea. Coupled with the silver needle of Junshan in Yueyang, there is a saying that "Xiaoxiang yellow tea counts as two mountains". Weishan Maojian was famous in the Tang Dynasty. "Ningxiang County Records" published in the sixth year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1867) said that "Liudu Temple and Luoxianfeng in Weishan all produce tea, and Weishan tea is the top grade."
