A trip to Dali: my personal experience and recommendation

In Dali, Yunnan, I explored many amazing scenic spots. If you are going to go to dali, here are six scenic spots I selected for you not to be missed.

First of all, I recommend that you must go to Erhai Lake. This place, known as "one of the four famous scenic spots", is located at the southern end of Erhai Lake and is the first stop to visit Cangshan Erhai Lake Scenic Area. I once spent a quiet afternoon there, sitting in Haixinge and looking at the sparkling lake, as if time had stopped.

Next, the ancient city of Dali, full of historical charm, is located at the foot of the beautiful Cangshan Mountain. It was the capital of Nanzhao and Dali in ancient times. The streets in the city are in a typical chessboard layout, which makes people feel like crossing back to ancient times. Here, you can plant flowers and grass, visit small shops and soak in bars, and enjoy the slow life of literary fashion.

Cangshan is also an excellent scenic spot. Also known as Diancang Mountain, it is located in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province and consists of nineteen peaks. These peaks are snowy and magnificent, and the scenery is famous for snow, clouds and springs. I walked through the mountain road and felt the magnificence and mystery of nature.

The Double Gallery is my special recommendation. The beautiful lakes and mountains here are breathtaking, and the sunlight refracts on the lake through the clouds, forming the "Erhai Shen Guang" that photographers can't miss. In Shuanglang Town, you can visit Yuji Island and Nanzhao Style Island, and feel the pleasure of lakes and mountains and fishermen boating and fishing.

The Three Pagodas Cultural Tourist Area of Chongsheng Temple is one of the landmark buildings in Dali. The reconstructed Chongsheng Temple Scenic Area is centered on the Three Pagodas, covering an area of 388 mu around, with a main building area of over 20,000 square meters. The Millennium Temple here has beautiful scenery and is a must-see for tourists.

Finally, I'd like to recommend you to Xizhou. This important town inhabited by Bai people is located in the north of Dali ancient city 18km, with Erhai Lake in the east and Cangshan Mountain in the west. Here, you can enjoy the best preserved Bai folk houses, such as Xiangzhai and Siheyuan. These dwellings not only retain the characteristics of Bai traditional dwellings, but also integrate Chinese and western architectural techniques, which is a good place to understand Bai culture.

My trip to Dali made me deeply appreciate the charm here. If you want to travel in go to dali, these scenic spots are a good choice. I believe you will find your own surprises and touches during your trip.
